For the past twenty years, your kitchen has been the center of your home. The place where everything happened. I bet you remember a time when it was hard to keep clean with endless piles of paper on the counters, half-empty backpacks on the floor, and random glasses scattered around the room. It was also a place for learning, laughing, and sharing love.
Now that your kids have moved on, the quiet that has taken over your once busy kitchen feels unfamiliar, maybe even overwhelming.
It’s not just about missing the noise and chaos, it’s that you’re realizing it’s time to rebuild your identity. As a mom, you're moving on and are likely considering, “What’s next for me?”
Changing who you are can lead to feelings of stress, anxiety, or loss. It’s essential to remember that you are not alone.
Sweet Transitions is here to help moms facing their empty nest. We offer opportunities to educate, create community, and connect moms whose roles have changed, whether it’s to provide parenting tips, to help you discover a life that feels full, or both.
Our programs don’t leave the kitchen behind. Rather, they draw from lessons learned in the kitchen, particularly those of patience, practice, and persistence. Sometimes you need to start over, adjust, or experiment to see what unfolds.
Explore your new roles, changing relationships, and emerging dreams in a collaborative 4-session facilitated group.
Share your experiences in a supportive enviroment and connect with women facing similar challenges around transitioning to an empty nest.
