Welcome!!
I'm a parenting educator, baker, and teacher of teens. I specialize in helping parents develop strong, healthy relationships with their teens by providing education, classes, and resources.
As a baker, I've been able to turn a passion into a business. Originally, I sold baked goods at farmers' markets, and now teach baking classes.
My favorite classes to teach are to teens. I love introducing teens to the power of baking. I have two grown children of my own and understand the joys and challenges of parenting teenagers.
I'm passionate about helping parents create a nurturing and supportive environment for their teens.
My goal is to show how baking can do just that, along with helping your teen to be more confident, self-reliant, and happy.
Learn the power of baking in your own home with our private 1:1 or group baking classes, for teens & their families.
Support your teen to help them gain confidence, learn new skills & gain independence. Work with me 1:1 to learn the many ways baking can open doors to communication & connection.

"I highly recommend Sara for teaching both kids & adults! During the sessions, Sara was patient, ensuring everyone was on the same step. She was great at telling us what was going to happen & when. With the kids she was considerate & asked each about how much cooking experience they had, helping them every step of the way. Sara was personable & comfortable interacting with both the parents & kids."

"I was thrilled to have the opportunity to bake with Sara and to hear her passion for how baking can help to build strong relationships with teens and tweens. As a school administrator, I know how significantly the Social and Emotional wellbeing of teens and tweens have suffered over the past few years since COVID. Any opportunity for a teen to try a new skill, and in the process build a strong connection with a caring adult, is something that should be welcomed and celebrated."

"I had the pleasure of baking a one layer chocolate cake with Sara's online class. Her classes are very well planned & presented. She has an excellent way of listing the ingredients & required equipment needed. She is very attentive & guides her students during the class as well as making sure the students are having fun at the same time. I can highly recommend the baking classes with Sara."

As parents, we are always doing things for our teenagers. Maybe you feel you do too much? In truth, understanding how to teach your teenager independence can be a tricky balance between doing too much for them and not doing enough. But how much is enough? And how...
Teens and their phones go together almost like peanut butter and jelly. When you see a teenager, you’re never surprised to see a phone in their hand and their eyes on the screen. But the big question is, how much is too much? Learning how to manage teenage screen time can be tricky to navigate.
