Apples, apples, apples

Fall is prime apple season in the Northeast and apples are definitely on my mind.

I've made a quick video for you on tips and tools for using apples in your baking.

I spend a large amount of time looking for apple recipes, and am always adding to my collection. There is one recipe, Apple Crumb Pie, that my neighbor gave me over twenty years ago that holds up as a family favorite. Do you have an apple recipe like that?

How about your favorite apple to eat? Is it different than your favorite apple to use for baking? Mine used to be the same, but I've ventured into some new apples for eating. Last year, my supermarket had Snapdragon Apples, which were new to me. They were crisp, juicy, and sweet.
